I took my first photography class as a freshman in high school. It was the only thing I've taken and immediately been good at doing. I got several scholarships for photography to art schools around the country upon graduating. I decided to go to Texas State University instead. I majored in advertising and minored in photography. I never thought I could actually make a living as a photographer so advertising was my fall back career.

I worked in "Corporate America" for 4 years after graduating college. One day at work a light bulb went off in my head and I realized I should be pursuing a career in photography instead of what I was doing since that was what I was most gifted in. From that point on I was determined to be a successful wedding photographer.

I've been shooting weddings full-time for three years now. I've shot hundreds of weddings and absolutely love my job! I love how unique and creative weddings are these days. Every weekend there's something new!
