Marissa and James live in Washington D.C. so they decided the wanted their engagement session there. It was my first time there. What a great city!

Sarah and Dave live in Chicago so they wanted to do their engagement pictures there. I absolutely love Chicago. I would live there in a heartbeat. It was so nice seeing green grass and flowers again. 
Sarah and Dave are a fun-loving couple who are up for anything. We hit most of the Chicago hotspots and ended the session on the beach with their super cute Bulldogs.

Photographers in Ireland have it so easy. Literally everywhere you look is postcard-worthy beautiful. We had planned on the Cliffs of Moher for the after session but decided it might be too far of a drive away. Instead we stopped along the road on the way to Emma’s hometown. We climbed some fences (which reminded me of home) and found some beautiful farm land. I’m a sucker for farm land. We ended up at the Abbey in Askeaton where we almost didn’t make it out alive. We encountered a very angry and territorial horse who tried to bite Emma then went crazy running in circles until he fell in the mud and we escaped.
A HUGE thank you to Emma’s parents, Ailish and Brian. They took us in and treated us like family. Thanks also for showing us your beautiful country! I hope to be back someday soon!

Ahhh, love these toooo! Wonderful!
The rain continued after the ceremony and threatened to ruin our after session. Luckily, we had a brief period with no rain. Jessica had said from the beginning that she wanted to get in the ocean in her wedding dress. She was the first bride that I’ve had that was willing to actually “trash the dress”. It was fun!
