Emie & Jon- Louisville, Kentucky

Whenever I told someone that I was going to Kentucky for Emie and Jon’s wedding the immediate response would be, “Oh, Kentucky! It’s so beautiful there.” Well, they weren’t lying! Mitch and I fell in love with Louisville. It’s kind of like Austin but better. :) Emie did such a great job planning her wedding. There were beautiful details EVERYWHERE! The church was gorgeous too. After the ceremony the bridal party and I loaded up in a old trolley car and did pictures at this house front that was in the middle of a street. It was literally just a house front. The reception was at a place called Gingerwoods in Prospect. The reception was so much fun!

We can’t wait to go back to Kentucky….Kentucky Derby maybe?!?!

Rachel & Cory

Isla Mujeres is a photographer’s dream. When we first arrived we drove through the streets and I noticed that all of the buildings were bright and colorful. I knew they’d make a good background for Rachel & Cory’s after session.

Isn’t this dog the cutest? There were lots of seemingly very happy stray dogs there. This one stopped to pose in one of my photos. He was even looking the right way!

Rachel & Cory-Isla Mujeres, Mexico

So I have to say, Isla Mujeres is my new favorite place. It’s such an great town. We had a blast!

Rachel & Cory have an incredible group of friends and family. They had 70 guests at their wedding! That’s huge for a destination wedding.

Cory wrote this 5 years ago. He never told Rachel about it and gave it to her on the wedding day. It made all the bridesmaids cry.

After the ceremony and short reception we went all around Key West taking pictures. Luckily we had arrived a few days early to scope out good locations!

Sandi & Jamie-Key West, FL

Sandi & Jamie decided to invite all of their friends and family on a cruise for their wedding. The first stop was Key West where they decided to have their ceremony beachside. I was thrilled when they decided to have me fly to Key West to meet them and photograph their ceremony. After the ceremony they had a quick cake and champagne reception on the beach.

Mitch and I decided to rent bikes rather than a car while we were there. It was so much fun riding around town. The morning of the wedding we loaded up our camera backpacks and rode 2 miles to Smathers Beach. It was so relaxing. I wish I was always able to do this!

This guy was laying under a palm tree five feet from us the entire ceremony. He watched the whole thing. Sandi & Jamie wanted to get a picture with him afterwards. He was so funny!
