The session that almost wasn’t…
About a week after I got back from Chicago Sarah and Dave flew to Austin for Sarah’s bridal session. She decided that she’d rather do a session with Dave rather than just her alone. Even though it was a month before the wedding they decided to do a first glance and do photos together.
We had a hard time finding a location because our first pick backed out the morning of the shoot. We decided on Old Glory Ranch. Then on the way to Wimberley a huge rainstorm hit. It was pouring rain and the electricity went out all over town. We decided to go ahead and photograph there anyway. We had to shoot fast and did everything in about thirty minutes making this session the fastest I’ve ever done to date!

I always love working with Trisha from Visual Lyrics. I think she is SO talented and brings some much creativity to her floral designs. When she contacted me about this stylized shoot I was very excited.
I had the privilege of working with some uber talented people on this!

every one of these, is fabulous. well done
Christina, I am IN. LOVE. with these photos! STUN-NING!

Photographers in Ireland have it so easy. Literally everywhere you look is postcard-worthy beautiful. We had planned on the Cliffs of Moher for the after session but decided it might be too far of a drive away. Instead we stopped along the road on the way to Emma’s hometown. We climbed some fences (which reminded me of home) and found some beautiful farm land. I’m a sucker for farm land. We ended up at the Abbey in Askeaton where we almost didn’t make it out alive. We encountered a very angry and territorial horse who tried to bite Emma then went crazy running in circles until he fell in the mud and we escaped.
A HUGE thank you to Emma’s parents, Ailish and Brian. They took us in and treated us like family. Thanks also for showing us your beautiful country! I hope to be back someday soon!
